Tree Plantation – Our Commitment

How Pasaydan Protects Nature
Through Tree Plantation

How many trees has Pasaydan planted so far?

With the support of volunteers and well-wishers, Pasaydan Social Organization has planted more than 3,000 trees in and around Pachegaon. These trees are not only planted but carefully nurtured until they grow strong and self-sustaining.

Which tree species are planted and why?

Pasaydan focuses on planting long-living and native tree species such as Peepal, Neem, Jamun, Umbar (Cluster Fig), Bel, and Kanchan. These trees provide wide shade, improve groundwater recharge, support biodiversity, and offer food and shelter for birds.

How does Pasaydan ensure tree survival?

Tree plantation at Pasaydan does not end with planting. Regular watering, protection, and follow-up care are ensured. Due to this approach, the survival rate of planted trees is above 95%, with only minimal loss.

Where are these trees planted?

Most tree plantations are carried out along public roads and open spaces where they can provide maximum environmental benefit. This improves roadside greenery, offers shade to travelers, and contributes to long-term ecological balance.

Why is tree plantation important for rural areas?

Tree plantation helps prevent soil erosion, improves soil fertility, increases groundwater levels, and supports agriculture. For rural areas, trees are essential for climate balance, farmer livelihood, and the protection of natural resources.

What a Tree Gives

A Tree Gives Life,
Without Asking Anything in Return

A tree is not just wood rooted in soil. It is the silent protector of life. It gives oxygen to breathe, shade to rest, fruits to eat, shelter to birds, and balance to nature. Long after humans pass, trees continue to serve generations.

Breath of the Earth

Trees absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen, making life on Earth possible for humans, animals, and all living beings.

Protector of Nature

Trees prevent soil erosion, recharge groundwater, reduce heat, protect wildlife, and maintain ecological balance.
